THE ROLE OF EARLY BIOMARKERS IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF BRONCHOPULMONARY DYSPLASIA IN PREMATURE NEWBORNS

Abstract
The article presents the results of studies of 103 premature newborns with respiratory distress syndrome and bronchopulmonary dysplasia hospitalized in Newborn intensive care unit and neonatal department. Republican Specialized Scientific-Practical Medical Centre for Pediatrics and Republican Perinatal Centre in Tashkent. The obtained data testify to the reduced synthesis of pneumoprotein SP-D, which contributes to the development of BPD and reduces anti-infective protection of lungs in premature infants. Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in a study on the development of bronchopulmonary dysplasia after respiratory distress syndrome was lower than in infants who did not develop BPD. Thus, the obtained data showed that the complex determination of SP-D and VEGF levels in serum of newborn babies with respiratory disorders could be used in clinical neonatology as informative for the diagnosis of the severity and the prognosis of its unfavourable outcomes due to immaturity of newborn babies.
