Advertising Policy



Print Advertising Terms

Journals published by the University of Illinois Press accept advertising under the following conditions:

1. Advertisements must be submitted in electronic format. PDF files are preferred. We recommend using the PDF/X-1a:2001 when outputting to PDF.

2. Contents subject to publisher approval.

3. Advertisements must be accompanied by insertion order specifying name of journal, volume, and issue number.

4. Rates and publication dates subject to change.

5. Payment due 30 days after publication. Tearsheets included with invoice.

 

Online Advertising Terms

Journal accept electronic advertising under the following conditions:

1. Advertisements must be submitted in electronic format (jpeg or tiff preferred). No animation, please.

2. Contents subject to publisher approval.

3. Online advertising appears for 90 days. Longer ad durations are available by request.

4. Advertisements must be accompanied by insertion order specifying name of journal, start date for the ad, and a linking URL.

5. Rates and publication dates subject to change.

6. Payment due 30 days after the ad start date. Ad traffic analysis is available by request.

 

Discounts

15% agency discount

15% discount on second page in two-page spread

15% frequency discount on ads run in the same calendar year.

30% discount on ad reruns.

25% discount on each placement when booking ad space in both the print and electronic versions of any single journal.

No cash discount.
