SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT THROUGH PHYSICAL ACTIVITY MODEL IN EARLY CHILDHOOD

Social Development; Olympism, SDGs, Physical Activity Learning Model and Early Childhood.

Abstract
Early childhood social interactions often missed become a centre of attention, even though
they are actually one of the factors that appear in physical activity and sports activities. Physical activity activities in
the form of physical education and sports can be used as an arena to create social relations that are also meaningful
for laying the foundations for the acquisition of a better quality of life in the future. Participation and involvement
of children in activities that are structured and intentional physical activities provide opportunities for the
development of social behaviour in addition to the goal of developing various forms of physical activity itself.
Making children move more is a key strategy to reduce the burden of non-communicable diseases (NCDs), as
explained by WHO's 2013-2020 Global Action Plan for Prevention and Control in the framework of the United
Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for the year of development 2015-2030. This article will discuss
how olympism through Physical Activity Learning Model planning in an integrated environment in order to obtain
more comprehensive benefits, both in the cognitive, psychomotor, emotional, and social levels could encourage
early childhood social development.
