APPLICATION OF BIOACTIVE MATERIALS IN BONE TISSUE ENGINEERING

Abstract
Bone disorder is of utmost importance because of its increased incidence in the median age. The
primary purpose of the most therapies in field of dentistry is the renewal of tissue of bone.For the regeneration,
natural (allo- and xenographic) and artificial (alloplastic) replacements based on calcium phosphate (CaP) are
employed as guidelines for bone regeneration processes.As a substance for bone growth in the fault, the optimal
bone replacement must be used even as absorption within the required period for hundred percent regeneration until
restitution ad integrum condition arrives.Since the idea of "tissue science" has been proposed,engineering in tissue
of bone has continued to develop. In the bone tissue engineering, biomaterials that are used for the development of
the scaffolds play an essential role. The bone biomaterials has vital role in the treatment of engineering of the bone
tissue engineering by providing some essential substrates including proliferation, cell adhesion as well as
differentiation & by changing the cell activity or its function. In bone tissue engineering, biomaterials that are
employed as the basic material to produce scaffolds play a key role.
