THERMOPHYSICAL AND TRANSPORT PROPERTIES OF ACETONEWATER MIXTURES AT 303.15, 308.15, 313.15 and 318.15K

Abstract
Densities, viscosities, ultrasonic velocity, refractive indices and surface tension values for acetone (1) + water (2)
mixtures were measured at temperatures of 303.15K to 318.15K for the whole composition ranges and atmospheric
pressure. These test esteems have been utilized to figure the separate overabundance properties alongside some acoustic
properties. The experimental data and excess properties have been used to calculate the interacting coefficients and
standard deviations from different existing models. Also the new model equations have been developed by using Design
Expert program (response surface quadratic model) for density, viscosity, ultrasonic velocity, refractive indices and
surface tension. Experimental results were analyzed on the basis of molecular interactions between component molecules
with the help of FT-IR spectrum.
