A NOVEL APPROACH OF BLOCKCHAIN BASED DIGITAL FORENSICS INVESTIGATION OF MEDICAL LABORATORY SYSTEMS IN COVID 19 ERA

Abstract
All aware now the globe is suffering from 2019 CoronaVirus termed as Covid -19 and Medically terms as
SARS-CoV-2.Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) has rapidly evolved into a pandemic that threatens societies
around the world irrespective of the status, economy of the country, age, race, religion. As of August 30 2020 WHO
states that the coronavirus has killed over 838,924 peoples across the globe[1].The pandemic has had many impacts on
global health beyond those caused by the COVID‑19 disease itself.
Many more concerns arising in managing the Medical laboratory data and more promising solutions can also be seen in
the market. But among all solutions Blockchain plays a crucial role through its decentralized methodology and with
security mechanism through digital forensics.
Governments, Private Organisations and health service providers have an responsibility to provide quality healthcare for
everyone, to the best of their capacity. It might not be possible during a pandemic, however, when health services are
likely to be inadequate. Prioritizing and rationing resources in this sense means making tragic choices, but those tragic
choices can be justified ethically and responsibly. During this pandemic times there is a spike hike of financial stresses
stemming from COVID-19 may tempt management and employees who would ordinarily conduct transactions,
operations, and reporting in accordance with internal policies and procedures to engage in fraudulent behavior. COVID19 is causing unparalleled disruptions to businesses and supply chains. The growing calamity has increased the global
demand for products compelling many businesses and competitors to temporarily combine required operations to
facilitate production and distribution of COVID-19- related products and services.
This article analyses the benefits and opportunities of applying blockchain in healthcare especially in Medical laboratory
data, particularly in developing nations, aiming on security and privacy issues and also focus on digital forensics. This
paperfocus how Blockchain-based solutions will be implemented in managing Covid 19 Medical laboratory data.
Finally, discuss on variety of challenges and issues to be resolved for the successful implementation of Blockchain
technology along with cryptographic algorithms.
