HARMONICS SUPPRESSION IN INDUCTION MOTOR WITH SVPWM IN PV SYSTEM

Abstract
This article presents the modest and effective solar photovoltaic (PV) system for water pumping by
means of an Induction Motor Drive (IMD). Two power conversion stages include this solar photovoltaic pumping
system. In a first stage, a duty rate for a DC/DC boost converter can be determined by extracting a maximum energy
from a solar PV array. Due to an increasing use of electronic gadgets, which create harmonic currents and reactive
energy, a quality of power has deteriorated. Space Vector PWM (SVPWM) in particular because it can produce high
voltages and less total harmonic distortion, as well as workmanship of magnificently field-focused structures for
motor control. As with SVPWM, sinusoidal PWM has similar results. A thesis stressed an inductive device, which
was used by two methods of harmonic removal technique: SVPWM and sinusoidal PWM, and compares a number
of harmonics suppressed by each method and uses closed loop control to boost a SVPWM technique.
