CUTTING FLUID AND MACHINING PROCESS: A DISCUSSION

Abstract
For enhancing the cutting characteristics at the “tool workpiece interface” in the process of
machining. During the cutting process, friction at the tool chip interface in the cutting area results in greater wear
& tear impacting machine tool life, increasing the workpiece's surface roughness. Research shows that
employment of water-based solutions and natural cutting oils "improves the life of the tool &surface finish." In
this study, different coolants, oils, and lubricants have been inspected, and it's been demonstrated that surface
roughness considerations generally include material work piece, types of chips, cutting region temp, type of
cutting processes, numerous kinds of materials used for cutting apparatuses along with "negative aspects of fluid
cutting in expressions of employee wellbeing”. The study indicates that machining variable pairings together with
cutting coolant alternative solutions, such as dry tooling, basic quality lube in addition to a suitable selection of
various cutting tools, help to reduce the usage of fluid cutting& to minimize the effects.
