ANTECEDENTS AND CONSEQUENCES OF CSR COMMUNICATION MANAGEMENT (CSRCM): AN AGENDA FOR FUTURE RESEARCH

Abstract
This study seeks to clarify the notion of CSR Communication Management (CSRCM) by creating a conceptual framework that reveals its underlying background and consequences. The study is conceptual, and as a result of a comprehensive practical interdisciplinary review of the literature, a model is developed. These research findings recognize three CSRCM precedents, respectively, CSR ethical/moral, CSR discretionary and CSR relational. The research further underlines a possible positive relationship between CSRCM and organizational performance. The study provides a holistic conceptual structure, along with a comprehensive overview table. This research offers a detailed strategic perspective into some kind of burgeoning body of literature on CSR communication management and provides the basis for a thorough evaluation of CSRCM's commitment to organizational efficiency. In doing this, it progresses the pool of relevant CSR communication management expertise meant as an operational tool for administration. Also, the operational and strategy ramifications presented in this study that enable CSR communication strategy professionals to recognize the main recommendations for designing and implementing a suitable CSRCM scheme.
