MULTI-OBJECTIVE OPTIMIZATION IN WEDM PROCESS OF ALUMINIUM-BAGASSE-GRAPHITE COMPOSITE THROUGH GREY RELATION ANALYSIS

Abstract
In research, hybrid aluminium composite was developed by varying percentage of bagasse ash 1(4,8, 12 wt.%) with constant percentage of graphite (2 wt.%). Taguchi method was adopted for design of experiments with three level and three factors (L9). Pulse on time, pulse off time and reinforcement weight percentage are selected as input parameter. Material removal rate (MRR) and surface roughness (Ra) are selected as output parameter. Grey Relation Analysis (GRA) was adapted for attaining maximum material removal rate with minimal surface roughness. ANOVA results reveals that pulse on time have more significant over output response.
