ANTI-PREJUDICE AND ITS RELATIONSHIP TO COGNITIVE DEPENDENCE OF KINDERGARTEN STUDENTS

Abstract
The aim of the current research is to identify the level of anti- prejudice and cognitive dependence among students of the kindergarten department, as well as to identify the significance of the differences according to the (first - fourth) grade variable for both variables, as well as the correlational relationship between them. In order to achieve the objectives of the current research, the researcher built a scale Anti-arousal relying on the cognitive dissonance theory of the world (Leon Festinger 1957), as the number of its paragraphs in the final form reached (34) paragraphs.
In the final form (30) paragraphs, and their psychometric characteristics were verified, the two tools were applied to a sample of
(400) students randomly selected from kindergarten departments in (College of Education for Girls - University of Baghdad, College of Basic Education - Al-Mustansiriya University, and College of Education for Girls - Iraqi University), for the academic year 2019-2020.
In light of the objectives of the current research, the following results were reached:
1. The current research sample of female students in the kindergarten department has an anti-prejudice.
2. There are no differences between female students in the kindergarten department in terms of anti- prejudice, according to the grade variable (first - fourth).
3. The current research sample of female students in the kindergarten department has cognitive dependency.
4. There are differences between female students in kindergarten department in cognitive dependency depending on the grade variable (first - fourth) and in favor of fourth grade female students.
5. There is no difference in the relationship between the anti- prejudice and the cognitive dependency according to the grade variable (first - fourth) for female students in the kindergarten department.
6. There is no statistically significant correlation between the anti- prejudice and the cognitive dependency of the kindergarten students.
