adopted snowball sampling technique to collect the data. Key results from this report are: The plurality of
bankers firmly conclude for 90.6 per cent that the introduction of outdated technologies was the primary cause
for borrowers' loss and was placed first in the explanation for borrowers' insolvency. This variable showed

Management was the primary reason for bankers' loss and was placed first in the NPA category. This variable
showed lowest standard deviation of 0.42. This indicates that in their view most bankers think without much
variance. The majority of bankers strongly agree with 92.4 percentage that the bankers used CIBIL score as the
leading technology to monitor the non-performing assets as preventive measures. Cohesive structure & a
regulatory regime friendly. In IRAC norms, RBI should be more liberal when the economy is down; particularly
for those sectors that are severely affected by economic slumps and political scams; such as coal-based
manufacturing, transportation, textiles, aviation, etc.
