Abstract
In the structure of dental diseases, dentoalveolar anomalies (DVA) take the third place in
frequency and prevalence after dental caries and periodontal diseases [10,15], in addition, in the last 3040 years, a
tendency to increase the frequency of DVA in children has been observed, this is due to the fact that in their
formation, stable pathological mechanisms operate [2,11,19,20], in the place of those very important factors for the
development of DVA and deformities, including pathology of the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) of a person, there
has been a reduction in DVA that has been going on for many millennia and ongoing now [6].

Key words: dentoalveolar anomalies, temporomandibular joint, pathological mechanisms operate, dental caries, periodontal diseases.
