ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE: FUTURE EMPLOYMENT PROJECTIONS

Dr. K. Ramakrishna, Dr. Indradeep Verma, Ishika Goyal, Muskan Agrawal.

Abstract
The working world in 21st century is intensely influenced by modern information technologies and advent of artificial intelligence powered machines. The management of process steps without human force could possibly be imagined. Now one can imagine how the future world will look like where tasks would be managed by robots and machinery.
This paper highlights how robots are becoming powerful enough to work in place of humans and how they are emerging as successful replacements to humans. The world in which we are living in is now experiencing the blurring of boundary between ‘real’ and ‘less than real’. There are many things we are having at the touch of a button, which could have not even appeared in the dream of people of 18th century. The ease with which we now do things gives us the tendency of doing nothing at all.
It mentions the complete definition of a robot and in what ways it can be used for work. Then it moves to the common belief that introduction of robots in market will steal human jobs and describes the future employment projection reports.
It then moves to the changing workplace, that is, describes what all new jobs will be created due to robot workers in various fields like technology, programming, innovation and research. The structures of economy, working relationships, job profiles and well established norms of time and remuneration models will also undergo major changes. It demonstrates how Artificial Intelligence will fundamentally change the world of work. It can be called mandatory as every industry is encountering new challenges due to constantly advancing technology and needs to find out how to meet those provocations.
The next discussion comes about the health and safety issues which will arise due to robots. The human brain is responsible for programming the way robots function, and only that can work upon the faults that arise within a system.
Humans have gifted robots with an inflated intelligence, but are we sure that they would not empower us someday?

Key words: Robots, Cobots, Jobs, etc.
