SPANNING TREES AND AVERAGE DISTANCES OF A GRAPH

Abstract
Graph theory is a well investigated branch of Discrete Mathematics with application to variety of fields ranging from Econometrics to Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. It has always been of great interest for mathematicians and others to explore properties of graphs. In this paper, we have determined the average distances of a graph of a given order. We have discussed the problem of extremal graphs, sharp upper bound on the average distances of a graph of given order and domination number.. We have discussed the average steiner n-distance šœ‡š‘› (šŗ) of a connected graph G is the average steiner distances over all sets of n vertices in G in nā‰„ 2.
