SIMULATIONAL STUDY TO VALIDATE SYNTHESISED METAL-ORGANIC FRAMEWORK (MOF-5)

Abstract
In the contest of have high porosity and high specific surface area, the MOF’s comes in to the picture. Compare to porous zeolite structure, MOF’s has more surface and porosity. Due to such enormous amount of porosity leads to MOF’s as a suitable candidate for the separations of gases, storageand also for catalytic applications. In various forms of MOF’s, predominantly used and analyzed one among the researcher is MOF – 5. In this paper we are going to synthesis such MOF-5 via chemical route [1-2]. And the purity of MOF – 5 attained by using the reported synthesis procedure [1] is validated with the simulation study using material studio.
