Air Driven Engines

Abstract
Internal Combustion Engine (I.C Engine) is one of the biggest factor in environment pollution and
also fossil fuels are drastically decreasing day by day, this has been the reason why engineers from a long while
have been in search to find an alternative engine or fuel which has no hazardous effect on environment. Air
compressed engine has been in the talking for a long time now, it uses compressed air as a fuel hence has no
harmful effect on environment, exhaust temp of this engine is very low which is approximately 20-25C and
therefore helps in reducing global warming in large extent. Another major advantage of this type of engine is its
fuel availability, since it uses compressed air as its fuel, there is no shortage of fuel. The air compression
technology is very simple and relatively easy to use. Working principal and future aspects of this engine will be
discussed in this paper.
