ANALYZING CLIMATIC DATA OF BALASORE AND NUAPADA IN ODISHA, INDIA

Abstract
Trend of rainfall, maximum temperature and relative humidity are considered to be the important
indicators of climate change. The objective of this paper is to check the variability of rainfall, maximum
temperature and humidity for better environmental clarity of Balasore and Nuapada districts in of Odisha, India.
Mann-Kendall and Senís slope and change point detection tests were used climatic time series statistics. The
results revealed that the monthly, seasonal, and annual rainfall have declined, and the monthly, seasonal, and
annual maximum temperature have a significantly increased. From the mean monthly rainfall trend, the change
point has been ascertained 2014 in both districts.
