A STUDY ON EDUCATIONAL, SOCIAL AND EMOTIONAL ADJUSTMENT OF CHILDREN WITH LEARNING DISABILITIES OF INCLUSIVE SCHOOLS

Abstract
The adjustment is the behavioral process through which every living organisms maintain a stable relationship within
their requirements along with environments that begin with a need and ends with satisfaction for every individual
adjustment that occurs from birth and ends after death. The main objective of the present study was to study and
correlate the adjustment of children with learning disabilities of inclusive schools of Lucknow district. 60 children
with learning disabilities (30 girls and 30 boys) were sampled to conduct the present study. Data was collected by
Adjustment Inventory constructed and standardized by A.K. Sinha and R.P. Singh (1971). The data was analyzed
with the help of the ‘t-test’. The result of this study shows that girls with learning disabilities have better adjustment
than boys with learning disabilities in the following areas- emotional adjustment, social adjustment, and educational
adjustment.
