Turnover and its Blow on Non-Financial Public Companies Feat

Abstract
This paper examines to test logically the factor of turnover that may affect financial performance
significantly. Measuring financial performance is the progression of identify the Strengths, Weakness,
Opportunities and Constraints of the firm. To analyze the SWOC’s of financial or non financial entities, ratio
analysis is a powerful financial implement. An attempt has made in the present study whether financial
performance of select non-financial public companies differ based on their turnover which is a measure of their
size. For the purpose of the study 16,130 public companies are divided into six categories based on their
turnover. Select Profitability and profit allocation ratios, Solvency, Turnover, liquidity and Expenditure ratios
are used to test the differences in firm’s financial performance. Analysis of variance is used which enables to
test the difference among more than two sample means. From the analysis it can be inferred that there is a
difference in Profitability, Solvency, Turnover, liquidity and Expenditure ratios of firms based on their turnover.
