NEW DIMENSIONS OF INDUSTRY: AN ANALYTICAL STUDY OF MODERN ERA 4.0

Abstract
Technology has become upgraded than ever before. In today era, businesses can now create
products and services in more innovative way that were hard to imagine. The industrial sectors may not easily
catch up with all those innovations. In the era of industrial digitalization, companies are gradually spending on
new tools and solutions that give industries a new direction in term of production, machineries, workforces, and
even the products itself etc. The objective of this study is to understand why companies moving to the new
concept of Industry 4.0. New emerging technologies and data exchange called the Industry 4.0 is an idea
recently introduced by the German government. The objective behind this initiative is to bring revolution in
business sector through digitalization, automation and by applying innovative technologies. The manufacturing
system becomes flexible and delivers customized products under Industry 4.0. It is also known as IIOT
(Industrial Internet of Things), smart manufacturing, operations with smart digital technology etc. This study is
based on secondary data. This research also focuses on various related topics with conclusion
