NANOTECHNOLOGY IN MITIGATION OF GREEN HOUSE GAS – CO2

Abstract
Air pollution is one of the important factors in today‘s world. This paper is analysing the role of nanotechnology
in bringing down the green house gases and its importance.Even if persons stop combusting fossil fuels and
discharging CO2into the atmosphere, the average global temperature of the Earth will remain to increase for the
rest of the centuryfor numerous factors. Firstly, the long lifetime of CO2 (estimated in the 100300 year range[1])
means that the excess atmospheric stocks (515 Gt Carbon)would continue to drive radiactive making and global
warming form any decades[2].
