to construction are commenced in complex and dynamic circumstances which result in situations involving unpredictability
and risks. These are further aggravated by challenging time constraints (Adedokun et al., 2013); (Hamzaoui et al., 2015);
(Zhen-Yu & Lin-Ling, 2008). As one of the commonest and typical project types, the construction projects have various
attributes namely, time constraints, specified objectives, monetary limitations and economic requirements, particular
organizational and legislative conditions, intricacy and systematic attributes. Every construction project is a complicated
system where risk is regarded as a foremost variable that has an impact over the success of the project, and its management
is a procedure of paramount importance in any capital project (Krane et al., 2010), especially construction project. In the
study, the correlation between the predicted risk and construction agencies is found to be moderately positive and significant.
From the data, it has also been observed, the major risk which impacts the mega-projects is environmental risk (47.3%)
followed by economical and technological risk at 41.2% and 29.3% respectively.
