BIT ERROR RATE ANALYSIS AND IMPROVEMENT IN CAPACITY OF MIMO-OFDM SYSTEM IN RAYLEIGH FADING CHANNEL

Abstract
This paper presents the Bit Error rate analysis and Capacity behavior of wireless multiple-input multiple-output
orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (MIMO-OFDM)system in Rayleigh fading environments. : Information can be
transmitted and received simultaneously from multiple antennas in MIMO systems and precisely higher detection can be
achieved. In this paper we have compared the BER (bit error rate) performance of MIMO-OFDM system over Rayleigh
fading channel with conventional OFDM by incorporating space diversity technique and different modulation techniques
(QAM/8QAM/16QAM/QPSK). By using MIMO, power spectral density, data rate, reliability and channel capacity increases.
