CSFC APPROACH: SECURE SMALL FILES IN HADOOP DISTRIBUTED FILE SYSTEM USING CRYPTOGRAPHIC TECHNIQUES

Abstract
Technology development in real time applications and usage of sensors playing vital role in all
areas, Because of this IOT playing vital role in our day to day life. The largest amount of data sets is produced on
timely manner. This is considered as Big data. Datasets produced by various applications are not in large size
always, Small sized large number datasets also produced, Processing that small data sets in Hadoop Distributed
File System (HDFS) is not much easy. It holds an individual memory space in Name node and more blocks in data
storage. So, to overcome come this Clustering Small Files based on Centroid is used to combine the related files
according to the file size and that detail maintained in Name node so memory utilization is reduced. Data can be
fetched from the data node by having the details in the node name. Advance Encryption Techniques are used for
the security of data in the Hadoop Distributed file system.
