PARAMETERS OF A CENTRIFUGAL SPRAYER FAN FOR CHEMICAL PROCESSING OF GARDENS

Abstract
The sprayer proposed by the authors carries out the chemical treatment of vineyards and orchards. The
aim of the study is to determine the main parameters and power consumption of a centrifugal sprayer fan for the chemical
treatment of vineyards and orchards. The design and operation principle of the advanced sprayer are given. Theoretical
studies identified the main parameters of a centrifugal fan. It has been established that high-quality chemical treatment of
vineyards and orchards with minimal energy costs is provided with the following parameters of a centrifugal sprayer fan:
the diameter of the fan wheel is 630 mm, the diameter of the inlet is 340 mm, the width of the blade in the inlet and outlet
air holes is 200 mm and 150 mm, respectively, the length of the blade is 140 mm, the pitch of the blade is 127 mm, the
number of blades is 12, the diameter of the inlet of the fan casing is 340 mm, casing width 250 mm. Theoretical studies
found that an increase in the air flow rate and the size of the casing outlet window leads to an increase in power
consumption for the fan drive.
