PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS OF GAME THEORY FOR NETWORK SECURITY IN WSN

Abstract
Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) has tremendous potential for various futuristic applications. Wireless sensor
networks has grown a lot in recent years and offers excellent opportunities in defence related applications such
as monitoring environment and gathering data related to antisocial activities. Currently, the needs of wireless
sensors have become important in daily life. With the continuous improvement of WSN in daily life, and
defence applications, the security of sending data from sensors to their destination has become an important
research area. Due to the limitations of power, storage, and processing capabilities, security mechanisms of
WSN has to be improved. So there is a need to develop new methods to overcome network security. In this
paper, we discuss, attack models using game theory, and then propose a idea to find false nodes using zero sum
game approach for nodes in the forwarding the data along the route.
