Abstract
In in a German-speaking Switzerland mail study, the opinions of the laypeople (N=337) of various nanotechnology applications have been studied. The Nanotechnology industry has the potential for the production of new food products and their packaging. The aim was to create a distinction between recognized officially as food products. Quantitative template has been utilized and brief situations have been identified. A less troublesome evaluation was made for nanotechnology food packaging than the food items which are prepared by using nanotechnology. Individual analyzes have shown that the significance of spontaneity in food products and self-assurance are the important factors influencing Highly and less probable Apparent threats and advantages from consumer processing nanoscience and food manufacturing bioengineering. Mechanical restrictions characterstics for food processing and artificial polymers are established through modern nanostructured techniques bio-polymers have been improved. Currently, nanotechnology is being used for developing smart packaging with improved communication functions. Nanostructured coverings improve the barrier properties of films. This paper discusses the prospects of nanotechnology in the applications for food packaging.

Key words: Food Packaging, GM Technology, Nanomaterial, Nanotechnology, Nutrition.
