Microbiological Monitoring of Food Waste Biodegradation

Abstract
As a global environmental issue, food waste as well as its differential development have arisen and its insufficient recycling has become a challenge to safety and the climate. Deterioration of wasted food frees many greenhouse gasses that enhance global warming which create vast volumes of bad smells and pollutants, such as H2S and NH3. The implementation of traditional management approaches desperately demands effective steps to reduce this pressure. The recycle of food waste, that appears cost-effective and environmentally less damaging, is played by microorganisms. Some of these methods is anaerobic digestion, among the most effective and environmentally sustainable solutions to handling food waste and converting it into different usable items. The research thus examines the way in which food waste can be efficiently handled via the use of microorganisms to reduce possible health and ecological risks.
