Abstract
Fungi are important species that are essential to life on Earth. Epigeous fungal fruits are called mushrooms that are noticeable in the naked eye. Fungi synthesize a wide range of metabolites–bioactive compounds that allow them to survive in the continuous battle with other species. In this new millennium, a growing awareness of healthy foods produced a boom. If people consume mushroom, these compounds will produce complex physiological responses to our species that contribute to mushroom toxicity or support human health, on the other hand. Therefore, a wide spectrum of therapeutic activity and support with various diseases may be presented in certain mushrooms, which are therefore called medicinal mushrooms. The population eats mushrooms because of their nutritional and medicinal characteristics. These mushrooms possess antimicrobial and antioxidant characteristics that are part of a basidiomycetes as well as ascomycetes taxonomic class. It is one of the leading anti-cancer as well as immunomodulator suppliers. Therefore the wave of the future is those new myochemical mushrooms.

Key words: Anticancer, Antimicrobials, Antioxidants, Immunomodulators, Myochemicals, Mushrooms
