MEASURING THE ACCEPTANCE AND ADOPTION OF E-LEARNING BY ACADEMIC STAFF DURING CORONA VIRUS OUTBREAK: THE CASE OF HAIL UNIVERSITY

Abstract
The social requirements of COVID-19 pose an inappropriate challenge to the entire society. One should judge that adopting an online learning environment is not a technical issue, and it becomes important in the problematic times such as Covid-19. Technology is a powerful tool that requires close cooperation between education, content and technology groups. Closing the university and removing students and staff from the classroom is an educational change that requires the rapid mobilization of all university staff and resources. This research is about the measurement, acceptance and adoption of e-learning by scholars during the development of corona-viruses. A total of 100 teachers have been selected for the data substantiating purpose with stratified sampling. It is a specific place in Saudi Arabia and Hail University. A total of seven different hypotheses have presented here. From this entire assessment, it is found that the acceptance and adoption of E-Learning by the Academic Staff is valuable especially during the current Corona Outbreak. However, it is emphasize more by those individuals who have experience in Information Technology, and have good command on the information technology. Moreover, the management support from the Hail University of Saudi Arabia is also required to implement E-Learning capacity.
