ELECTRONIC DESIGN AUTOMATION (EDA) SOFTWARE-ASSISTED LEARNING MEDIA: A TUTORIAL OF PROTEUS SOFTWARE

Abstract
Simulation activities through interactive software tools create a more optimal and maximum learning atmosphere, because it is able to increase motivation to learn independently and no longer depends on the presence of teachers. The use of media in digital engineering practices requires the presence of lecturers as the ones responsible for security and safety in practicum activities. This is a standard procedure in practice activities in Surabaya Aviation Polytechnic. If the learning media above is developed and used appropriately and well it will provide enormous benefits for teachers to create more interactive classroom learning methods, because interactive media can change the learning environment where teaching and learning processes are more interesting and interactive, besides the quality of cadet learning can be increased. Proteus software can support the learning of cadets through the application of knowledge or concepts they have obtained on real objects.
