REVIEW ON DESIGN AND FABRICATION OF SAFETY SUIT FOR SENSING DIFFERENT PARAMETERS

Abstract
A Safety suit can be mainly used for the people working in mining industries, gas industries and chemical industries. The various accidents in these industries cause several deaths among the workers often. As the workers’ health condition also affects the company’s production, continuous monitoring of the workers’ health condition is a necessary thing. The emission of toxic gases like carbon dioxide, carbon mono oxide, methane, sulphur dioxide causes several health problems for the workers. The health and safety of workers are enhanced by using various smart protective wears like safety suite and helmet. A suit with sensor implementation can be used to protect the workers. Various sensors used to measure heartbeat, temperature, pressure and humidity play a major role in sensing and measuring the required parameters. This paper reviews the various methods of suit designing, fabrication, sensors embedded into the suit and parameters influence on human body and also in controlling the emission of toxic gases.
