DYNAMIC MODELING AND SIMULATION OF ELECTRIC VEHICLES

Abstract
This paper presents the benefits of EVís with conventional IC vehicles. Along with that we discuss about various Motor drive technologies (MDT), Battery charging technologies (BCT), Energy source technologies, configurations of EVís and HEVís. Based on the dynamic modeling of EVís we reduce the tractive effort on the Electric vehicles.

Key words: Electric vehicles (EVís), Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEVís), Internal Combustion Engine (IC Engine).
