Abstract
Retrospectively, 239 medical histories of patients with cirrhosis of the liver treated during 2005-2015 in some hospitals of the Khorezm region were studied using a questionnaire. The questionnaire included 36 names of hepatoprotectors widely used in practical medicine in our country.
Based on the data obtained, it was found that in the Khorezm region, the incidence of cirrhosis of the liver in women exceeds that of men. The frequency of liver cirrhosis in urban patients is twice lower than in rural ones. In the treatment of patients with cirrhosis of the liver, hepatoprotectors have a relatively high efficiency when used in combination.

Key words: liver pathway lesions, inherited metabolic diseases, various infectious agents, liver vascular lesions, hepatoprotectors
