IQAC INTERVENTIONS IN ENSURING INSTITUTIONAL QUALITY IN CURRICULAR AND TEACHING, LEARNING PROCESSES

Abstract
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) in any higher education institution in India is entrusted with the responsibility of fostering quality consciousness in all aspects of the institutional functioning. Extant literature and higher education policies in India, have established a set framework to assess quality across a wide range of academic and administrative aspects. In this context, this study explores the role of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell in building institutional quality through strategic interventions into the curriculum and teaching learning process. The nature of the paper is conceptual. By drawing upon extant works, the study explores the role of IQAC with specific focus on curriculum, teaching and learning process through strategic interventions.
