FEATURES OF MAGNETIC RESONANCE SPECTROSCOPY IN CHILDREN WITH EPILEPSY AND CEREBRAL PALSY

Abstract
The article presents the results of the assessment of MR spectroscopy in the diagnosis of symptomatic epilepsy in children with various etiologies. NMR spectroscopy provides the ability to determine metabolic information about the state of the white matter of the brain in addition to the anatomical information obtained from a standard MR study. The use of MPC for epilepsy deserves closer attention and further in-depth study. A comprehensive study of the structural and functional methods of neuroimaging allows doctors to non-invasively identify and detect microstructural disorders at a metabolic level that may be associated with epileptogenesis. Compared to structural research methods, functional methods of neuroimaging have an immeasurably higher diagnostic value.
