PREDICTION AND CLASSIFICATION OF DISEASE IN MANGO FRUIT USING HYBRID MULTICLASS NEURAL SVM

Abstract
Mango is one of the major export fruit in India. Every year more than 50% of the world total export of Mango is
contributed by India. In recent years due to biotic and abiotic factors, there is a deviation in mango production, which has
a higher impact in Indian economy. Hence the research to lever up the deviation through disease prediction in pre and
post-harvest time of mango cultivation draws its focus. Across India there are nearly 8 diseases are common in Indian
mango cultivation. The existing works in this domain were carried about leaf based disease prediction and few works
focus on the fruit based disease prediction on atmost 4 diseases. This proposed work detect 7 disease found in the mango
fruit and the level of infection found in the fruit using Hybrid Multiclass Neural SVM classifier with a RMBF feature
extraction algorithm. The proposed work is evaluated against the existing classifiers such as Knn, Fuzzy Logic, Naive
Bayes and the result gives a prediction accuracy of 98.4%.
