INNOVATIVE APPROACHES TO FEEDING OF MEAT POULTRY OF MODERN CROSSES IN ORDER TO OBTAIN PREMIUM CLASS PRODUCTS

Abstract
Owing to the rising demand for ecologically safe products observed in Belgorod region, the production of poultry meat
without the addition of feed antibiotics presents a relevant problem. Our goal is to provide safe products received using
natural biologically active substances to the market of Belgorod region. Therefore, our study was based on the
substantiation of the adequacy of feeding and the effectiveness of innovative usage of biologically active supplements
for the production of poultry of various crosses. The targets of the study are broiler chickens of various crosses and
biologically active supplements of natural origin. The studies were conducted in broiler chickens of Hubbard-F15 and
Cobb crosses at the Saltykovskaya site of the Belgrankorm-Belgorod production, as well as on the premises of the
poultry mini farm of the Belgorod State Agricultural University. A method of analog groups was used to select groups
of one-day-old chickens. Five groups consisting of 1000 chickens each at the Saltykovskaya site of the Belgrankorm-
Belgorod production and five groups consisting of 500 chickens each at the poultry mini farm of the Belgorod State
Agricultural University. As a result of the conducted studies, it was determined that the inclusion of bee products Apispira
and Khlebina in the poultry diet, without adding of antibiotics to water, enhances the immune response of
chickens, increases productivity, decreases raising costs and, as a consequence, increases profitability of floor housing
up to 27.2-27.8% and of cage housing up to 23.1-24.0%. The results of the paper can benefit to manufacturers of
premium products.
