TESTING THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN ORGANIZATIONAL DOGMATISM AND RETAINING TALENT: AN ANALYTICAL STUDY OF THE OPINIONS OF A SAMPLE OF WORKERS AT AL GHADEER PRIVATE HOSPITAL

Abstract
The literature indicates that organizational dogmatism negatively affects the overall performance of organizations, despite the lack of empirical evidence available on this issue. The literature indicates that retaining talent may lead to easier access to customers and investors, thereby enhancing the overall performance of organizations. This study examines whether organizational dogmatism leads to a lack of retention of talented human resources. In this study, the relationship between organizational dogmatism that consisted of four indicators namely intellectual immobility, desire to win, adoption of aggressiveness and cognitive closure and its relationship to retaining talent was examined, and a random sample was taken of employees Al-Ghadeer Hospital, consisting of (67) people. The hypotheses tested using the statistical program (SPSS v20). The research concluded that the practices of organizational dogmatism negatively affect the organization's retention of talented human resources. As it was found there is a negative effect of organizational dogmatism in retaining talent, which the research organization must consider not to exercise leadership styles that lead to not retaining the effective human resource.
