Abstract
Usage of big data analytics is helping to evolve various fields and industries. The standout amongst, the most vital issues in both economy and individual life in current social orders is insurance industry which grants harmony and wellbeing to the general population by remunerating the money related danger of disservices and misfortunes. A lot of work for data mining and analytics have been done regarding car insurance in different aspects like risk analysis, fraud detections, etc. This research comprises the review upon the past work done regarding data mining in insurance. While the subsequent part comprises analysis of car insurance marketing campaign data from a US bank.
