DRIVER TO DRIVER COMMUNICATION USING LORA

Abstract
This paper proposes driver to driver communication system based on LORA transmission to increase road safety. The proposed system is composed of camera, gas sensor, pulse sensor, LORA transmitter, LORA receiver, MQTT protocol and an LCD. LORA is short for long Range and it is mostly biased on spread spectrum technique. The features of LORA are mainly 1) Range about 15-20km and it also connects millions of nodes. This system can detect the parameters of the driver regarding to fatigue or drowsiness, alcohol and pulse rate conditions in real time. When the parameters exceed the threshold value, the LORA transmitter alerts the vehicles surrounding vehicles. This information will also be concurrently transmitted to parents or the mentioned number using MQTT protocol. As a result, this system increases road safety.
